Jonny and his crew painted our ceilings and walls, as well as all our trim and banisters and some bookshelves. He is very experienced and knowledgeable in terms of construction and very detailed oriented.  Our place is a 1000 sq ft apartment with vaulted ceilings in living room, kitchen and dinning room. Our project included knockdown ceiling, wainscotting, beadboarding, fixing all uneven walls and painting (walls, doors, door frames and also removed all old closets set up for new closet insert). He was super patient with all the additional ideas that I wanted to complete. He is very detailed and professional.  He provided very good contractors for  the knockdown ceiling and wainscotting/beadboarding. The painting crew was a bit disappointing as lots of spots were missed and they even scratched our bathtub without letting us know.  However, thanks to the Painting Manager Jonathan, and Oliver, the issues were all fixed.  Oliver also did extra work without charging extra. As per any typical renovation project, expect a delay in completion date due to contractors line up.  So patience is the key.  I budgeted the project for 3 months but it ended around 6 months. Overall I am extremely happy with the results and professionalism of HARDINGS and would recommend them to others.

No, it may be necessary to move some furniture. Your Harding’s manager will advise you.

Your texturing technicians will cover the walls and floors with plastic and remove it after the job is completed.

With stippled or textured ceilings, is hard to determine if the ceilings are in good shape. We can only really know after the stipple or texture has been removed.

In some homes the ceilings are wavy. If this only affects a small area, then a localized small repair can be performed. If the whole ceiling is wavy, then it will require a full skim coat and sanding after wards.

There will be some dust. We try to confine any dust to our plastic-covered work areas. You should expect to do some light dusting once the work is completed.

If your home was built prior to 1980 then you must provide us with asbestos test results from a professional company, certifying that your home is free from asbestos before we can proceed with any work. To give yourself peace of mind. We recommend a test on homes built prior to and including 1995.

The use of Asbestos in Canada was banned in 1978. However, existing supplies of the various asbestos containing products could be used up after that date and may have been used into the 1990’s.
